trends

With autumn just around the corner nears, we’re revealing the key fashion trends for the upcoming season. The perfect time to update your wardrobe, don’t you think?

So, what’s new this season? Well, there’s really something for everyone. Animal prints are everywhere this fall —expect sophisticated prints and luxury fabrics. What’s more, the latest 80s revival combines fabulous colours and materials such as glossy fabrics, leather and tweed. And of course, don’t forget the eye-catching neon hues. Top colours this season are baby blue and a bunch of gorgeous pastels, while brown is the new black.

Let's take a closer look at the fashion trends you really don't want to miss!

ANIMAL PRINTS

Animal prints ruled the New York, Paris, Milan and London Fashion Week catwalks. Leopard, tiger, zebra, snake and faux-croc were among the most popular options —whether in classic neutral tones or dazzling bright colours. Aim for classy and pair this season's colourful animal printed IKKS blazer and a Maison Scotch jumpsuit with Sandro flats and accessories like the small Coach bag and Komono watch.

MINI PARTY DRESSES

Legs will feature prominently this fall, as the glamourous mini dress takes the stage. Let’s party like it's 1989 in thigh-skimming mini-dresses with puff sleeves, sharp shoulders and nipped in waists. We chose this gorgeous silver Karen Millen dress in luxury satin. Truly fabulous when you add eye-catching accessories like these silver Essentiel boots, a beautiful Guess evening bag and a crystal Swarowski bracelet. This season's most beautiful dresses will definitely inspire you.

CRYSTAL MANIA

This season, crystals come out of the jewelry box and on to the streets. Choose girly glamour with Bash’s clutch or look edgy and a little dangerous in Versace’s leather perfecto combined with over the top Swarowski bling. Whatever your taste, you'll find affordable versions of the most shiny accessories in our Village.

70S-STYLE BROWNS

Revisit brown this autumn. It’s less harsh than black, so much more flattering and there are shades to suit every complexion. How about this Essentiel coat, Armani boots and Scapa bag? The Coach trench is superclassy and the shiny brown pleated skirt adds a young touch.

WINTER BLUES

If brown doesn't suit to you, you'll be happy to discover that pastel blues are just as big. Blue is usually associated with summer, but designers have adapted it for winter with coats, knits, and trouser suits in tones ranging from palest powder to cornflower and sky. It looks great with darker blues and other pastel hues as well as with contrasting colours. How about a Sandro ruffled jersey and a blue woven Chanel style waistcoat?

JAZZY JUMPERS

Intarsia knits are expected to be a big hit this fall. From stripy oversize sweaters to slogan and logo jumpers, there's something for everyone. Seasonal sell-outs are likely to include Scandinavian style knits. Best pick of the moment: a multi-coulour Bash oversized jersey combined with a cowboy style ruffled Bash dress, a long faux-fur Essentiel vest and Indian style jewelry from IKKS.

TWEED

Tweed is now the darling of the fashionista. Get in on the heritage chic trend by adding tweed costumes or oversize coats and scarfs to your wardrobe. We found our favourite picks at Scapa and added a stylish Furla bag to complete the look.

LEATHER

Leather has been popular with fashion lovers for decades and that’s no different this autumn. Trench coats, trousers, skirts, tops and boots were given the luxe leather treatment. Be a daredevil and wear leather-look leggings combined with a pencil skirt, a leather perfecto and add a fine blouse for a feminine touch.

STATEMENT HATS

It's going to be so much easier to stay warm this winter. Balaclavas and hoods appeared on almost every Fashion Week runway. You can already spot this trend in our boutiques, so you'll easily find affordable versions of stand-out pieces.
