On 29 and 30 June, Maasmechelen welcomes the summer with Street Art Festival Del Mundo. Your little ones (ánd yourself) can enjoy theater acts from home and abroad on the streets and squares of the municipality and in Maasmechelen Village. The street arts festival has already been part of the annual Maasmechelen fair for 18 years.
Bring your kids for a weekend full of joy and imagination.
HOURS OF FUN
The secret of an awe-inspiring Del Mundo festival? 25 artists and groups performing no less than 100 shows on two afternoons on different locations. A proven formula which impresses the audience year after year. Each time between 14 and 18h you can see the artists at work at 9 locations in Maasmechelen Village, M2 shopping center and at Pauwengraaf.
Just like during every previous edition, the line-up for 2019 is again impressive, to say the least. It includes reputed dancer/trapeze artist Adriano Cangemi from Argentina, the Japanese group "Witty Look" with a Cirque Du Soleil-esque act and the Spanish group ‘Samba de festa’, providing a firm dose of ‘Latin power’. Street theater at its purest comes from the Canadian Andy Giroux, while Maasmechelen’s own ‘De Genoten’ will thrill you with sensational dance moves.
